For the last 5 years I was the strategic lead for all of the agency’s work with American Express Travel, ultimately expanding into several engagements with other teams at American Express as well. When we first won the business, in February 2020, we were tasked with creating campaigns for spring and summer travel, encouraging existing Card Members to travel with Amex.
Then Covid hit, and our relationship deepened in a big way — now consulting on how to speak about travel when the world was on lockdown, and in every murky evolution of the situation which followed.
The full body of work with Amex is extensive, but I'm most proud of the Covid-era campaign evolution, our video work, and the behind-the-scenes digital strategy we worked with the clients to establish in order to help a highly regulated and conservative brand better educate and emotionally connect with Card Members.
